Your Canon Photos No.1: 4th to 13th May 2023

We have them over here as well but I dont know if it is the exact same species, looks like it. I did also look them up just now and wikipedia says the plant sits in the same family as the Asparagus (Asparagales), never would have guessed so.

Ray, that is terrific seeing you come out of the can. 😀 That's very creative. Before my DSLR and mirrorless-interchangeable-lens-camera days, I was using Sony, HP and Kodak P&S cameras.

Dave, is it easy to clean the Canon RP sensor with a blower? Does it have in-camera sensor cleaning? Since all of my five cameras have in-camera sensor cleaning and I leave the lenses on, I have never had to clean the sensor. A few times I saw some spots, but they went away on their own (I suppose by the in-camera sensor cleaning).

Thanks Dunlin. I have been at that tulip farm for a number of years. I was prepared this time with a lot of cameras.

Dunlin, one sheep I suppose is safe enough, but a bunch of them...maybe not. I heard that they can be become sometimes pets and are friendly. But other than what I read, I have no knowledge of what they are really like when actually being around them.

David, no...I didn't notice. Lens diffraction must be a myth. 😀

Thanks. When I first saw that picture on the computer, that was when I realized I should have taken more like that at 15mm FL. The dark clouds showed up well in that picture too. I just love these modern cameras where we can expect good results in cloudy weather.

In the UK we have the (native) English Bluebell - Hyacinthoides non-scripta, and the (not-native) Spanish Bluebell - Hyacinthoides hispanica. (I had to look up the scientific names).
The English Bluebell is endangered, partly due to inbreeding with the Spanish variety.
