Here are some rapeseed flowers taken recently.

Just imagine colonies of Yellow Wagtails populating such fields :)

    Awesome view.

    Steve,

I love the color of the sky with the clouds. It looks stormy. If you take these photo at a farm, maybe you could find some neat silhouettes of farm equipment or buildings.

    Simplejoy,

Thank you. It's fun to find these photo opportunities at the beach.

    Simplejoy,

That's a really nice "rain bow". The eye is drawn to towards the top where the drops are seen. I love seeing raindrops on plants. They look neat on flowers but also on leaves too.

    Ray,

I'm glad you liked the Pacific City photos. I also was able to take quite a few photos of the surfers at the beach that day too during the day. I should go back to the beach some time, where there's so many marvelous things to capture with the camera.

    Dunlin,

I'm glad you liked the Pacific City photos, especially the second one. When there's opportunities like that, you have to think fast because we know the time is short. Soon the sun sets and it's all gone until the next time. Sometimes I just don't want to leave; that's why you'll see sometimes photos that I have taken in near darkness, where I push the camera to the absolute limits.

    Dunlin,

I just love seeing those yellow fields of flowers. Do you have any closeups of the fields too? That would be where the entire frame is filled with green and yellow colors.

Not really. I have a closer photo of the flowers themselves:

    Dunlin,

Thanks for sharing with us the yellow flowers. The yellow and green look great with the blue sky and clouds.

I also had a little share of blooming yellowness during todays bicycle ride (Rotterdam to Delft), not as lavish or beautiful as Dunlin's fields but I enjoyed the sight nevertheless :) The only camera available to me was the smartphone but it was not to be helped.

David, perhaps it would be a good idea to rename this thread, to avoid any possible confusion.

    Ray,

It's good to see the sunshine and the blue sky. The yellow and green with the blue is pretty.

    Steve,

That looks ominous. Did you have thunderstorms with hail and lightning or even worse...tornadoes? It's that time of year.

Have no idea as to what these are, when it comes to flowers I'm usually in the dark totally.

Ahead to the new thread :)
