Continuing the flower theme, here are a couple of pictures of the Wisteria in our back garden. We planted it a few years ago, and this is the first time it has put on a really good display.

    HessleHiker,

The flowers are beautiful. The flowering plants look perfect to provide shade. I think you made a good choice picking them for your back garden.

    Subject: Red Robin

I don't think I had shown this photo previously. I took a picture of the Red Robin on April 24th of this year.

I hope you like it. Edit: Note that the name "Red Robin" is a colloquial term for the "American Robin".

    Cool photo Digirame.
It's interesting that you call it the Red Robin. Is the normal name that americans use?

It's actually an American Robin, and it's not closely related (as in not the same species) to the European Robin,
The American Robin is a species that you'll find mostly in the North American Continent.😉

    Mocha,

That's a neat water park. It seems to be a place that would be great for a canoe. 😀 That gull looks wonderful with the reflection. I love your flowers. The damselfly looks super; I think I need to get a lens for those kinds of pictures. My older Olympus lens used to be great for that.

    Hi Digirame, Thank You.

I've never seen any canoes or water craft on the lakes around these parts, maybe the main lake allows them on, I've only visited it the once. With the gulls at this time of year they take over a small island on the lake and lay their eggs so they are constantly feeding in the lake.

    Mocha,

A great variety in your shots. I like the seagull catching the fly -- well done to get the exact moment! Your macro of the damselfly is also well posed and shot. Here in the big city, such opportunities do not present themselves. Thanks for showing these to us. It makes me think of moving to the country!

    Hi davidwien, Thank You.

It's fun watching the seagulls catching the flies, they almost dance in the air at times spinning to capture them.

    Hi Dunlin, Thank You.

There doesn't seem as many birds this year on the lakes although the seagulls don't seem any less, I think bird flu has taken its toll.
