I kinda figured the results would be as such. Post away. I tried to find a different set of ideas from each image, but the technique is close to the same on all of them. My biggest thought was would any sensor make any difference. I doubted it, but couldn't hurt to check. No need for extra effort. What you posted tells me all I really need to know. It's not going to work a miracle and it struggles, which is pretty much what I expected.

Ever seen an AI image that looks like it was shot at 3200 or higher ISO? I haven't. It's more a reactionary thought to go in the opposite direction of conventional wisdom, just to prove a point. "This is a digital photograph of a Pipe" if you will. Alas, as you point out, its gonna kill details and I'm not sure I have the right tools to achieve what I'm going for. More experimenting is required.

    Thanks for your help.

    Was my pleasure! 🙂

I find your pictures to be very interesting. The bigger they are, the better. It looks spectacular on my 55" PC screen.
It deserves to be printed in large sizes! 🙂

The first image at the original resolution and a bit brighter:

Taking the image with the fractal as an example, I deduced that you prefer the more aggressive processing options.😀
I made two more of your images applying an aggressive processing.

No, there have been no upgrades since Photo AI was released, because Topaz gave everyone with that bundle a free license for Photo AI, which has been getting loads of updates. Photo AI does everything the standalone programs did, but better, faster, and at the same time (you can select which functions you want for each photo if you like).

But there were definitely regular updates of those standalone programs until then, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about. And no bamboozling!

I guess it depends on what you consider significant. Did the separate products have Photo AI's face recovery feature? Also, AI object removal is now included.
