The Pentax 645D is the only digital MF I can afford. 😁
The other MF are unaffordable 😩
But I would also like to have one of the Hasselblad digital H System. ❤️
It's important to keep dreaming 😇

    Pentax Q (2011)

It took me 10 years to get one.
With the K5 I brought a used mk2 well before getting the Q.
The 645D is going to have to wait quite a bit longer, none of my lenses adapt easily to it, so the initial cost of ownership will be significantly higher. My 5x4 lenses could be adapted but I doubt that would prove practical in use.

How many warehouse do you have for all your cameras Marc ?

    Hi,

The highest price I paid for any of my P645 lenses was $200. Most from Robert's Camera in Indianapolis back in 2000.

I bought lenses with greater performance for less money than I would had paid for old Pre AI Nikon lenses.

Dirt cheap, I'd say. Which is ironic since they are mostly made from sand. :P

    2012

The digital photography industry becomes more stable since 2012, and the quality of the results stabilizes.
We will be able to keep our equipment longer, it's good for the consumer, less for the collector :)

You've reminded me of the thoughts of how nicely a Nikon 1 would sit in the crop factor gap between my Q-S1 & MFT. E-bay linked with the thought, so now I have a J2 on the way (I'd have preferred the V1,or V2 but the J2 was a nicely priced buy it now)

I'm going to have to be more careful of this thread - the GAS it inspires is not automatically too excessively priced, unlike the latest toys...

Me too, I have often looked for a V1 or a V2, but they still sell a little too much at home, I think.

First and last with a reasonably large sensor, but the tiny Q series predated it (2011 for the original Q & I think continued longer (Q-S1 released in 2014).
All 4 models also lacked a viewfinder, but at least they had short registration, allowing some of the benefits of ML...
