Excellent !!
I've been "discussing" this matter with somebody on DPR who decries forum size limits and wants fora to accept 50MB and more!
As to JPEG quality, I usually post at 4:2:0 chroma sub-sampling (2x2) and 100% quality (mildest compression).

Hi everyone! I think there's something nice about a fresh start! Thanks to the folks who ported all the data here!

@SandyF has written:SandyF I've registered and I'm lurking. I took SDQuattro photos in a local Virginia park yesterday. I'll process them today, upload to flickr.com under my name Sandy Fleischmann, and also try to show one here.
It's even possible to link to Flickr images when posting here, you don't have to upload the images twice.
Is it possible to link your Flickr account to your signature after leaving a comment,it automatically appears after every comment you have
I'm here now :)
But, hey, is there no Sigma forum as such?
Also, are there any smilies? :(
I'm trying to import my avatar :|

According to the list of codes, there should be an exclamation mark in front of your image reference .,.,.
that didn't work so I tried BB code 'img' in place of your round brsckets

that didn't work, just showed a link same as yours ... both links work via FireFox though
I can only guess protection somewhere (Drive?) against hot-linking ...
Google likes no direct image linking, all addresses here return not images, but google image viewer page (script).
Inserting your image here seems possible, but takes some digging - and is such image visible to others or tomorrow, I don't know.
Do you see image here?

Yes
I've done that. It's still up and running as normal. Interesting to see how long that will last.
Lots of the regulars on the Sigma Camera Talk forum not here.
Is Rick Decker here and Sigmachrome.?

Yes, Arvo, I saw it too.
No exif except software is said to be Picasa ...

Likely Google team edits all images and strips exif and replaces it with Picasa. Manually for sure :)
Actually this direct image address is quite nasty to get and then it is related to (my) browser size too (you can see this in the end of link address - =w2560-h1290). I would suggest just to paste link to google drive and forget about embedding image here.
Or, if forum team decides to add option to add google drive support (this requires very specific handling - google images can easily be embedded using iframe, which generally is a bad thing™, then it will be possible. Someone should ask that on feature requests - I'm tired of writing there :)

A recent discussion with an Android phone user caused me to look for "embed media" framing here on this site but not possible today.
RangeFinder Forum has it.
