It would never had gotten so bad here if he taken some of my advice.

As someone who mostly stopped posting here due to his presence, I might actually resume posting here now that I peeked back here and he actually seems to be gone.

Indeed... I feel like DannoB (much like DonaldB) would have some real value as members (with unique perspectives and strong opinions, which aren't a problem as long as people are at least somewhat civil in their interactions), if they truly wanted this place to be a success and something unique, but it seems like that was not too high on their priority list anyway.

What I'm really sad about is that people like Jim Kasson and Iliah Borg seem to have stopped posting here completely.

David1961/DannoB/Steve_Z had no real value (unlike Donald who at least took good pictures and had techniques worth discussing). He should have been kicked out ages ago, but he kissed Bob's bum so they kept him.

And then, like the rabid dog that he is, DannoB turned on them.

Well, maybe DannoB starting his crap up at DPReview will bring them back.

Yes, I agree there! Also seemed like someone truly interested in finding stuff out.

Let's hope they'll also return from time to time for other reasons...😅

@Porky I'm really curious, particularly because I'm not familiar with any of your interactions on dpreview and thus feel relatively unbiased: When you originally registered here (before the afaik unwanted name-change etc. happened), would you say, you had intentions on posting here in a constructive way, like just discussing things and perhaps sharing some images etc.? Truth be told, I'm not someone who enjoys all the conflict and fighting... but given your creativity in name-calling, I would be really interested in seeing some of your photographs! I doubt you've shared anything around here, right?
