He was indeed struggling awkwardly to get out of that vintage (reenactment type) jeep that seemed to have no opening doors.
I'm glad (and I think he was too) that he did not end up flat on his face on the asphalt.
Hence my slightly ironic title.

If you look closely, the man has a cell phone mounted on a tripod in his right hand.
That explains the acrobatic act of getting out of the car.
Good thing, he makes the photo more interesting.

I like this photo the best.
In the other photo, I would have focused entirely on the rocks and water.

The downward-sloping line from the upper right to the lower left leads the eye to a distant island or coast, which isn't particularly interesting.
Could this part be cropped out?

Meet at the Beach

Cool.
Reminds me of a film I saw a while back, where a few people were having a relaxing time on the beach. A small girl is watching a BIG ship getting closer and closer and tells the others that it's out of control. Takes ages before they realize that it is really going to crash into the beach and then they all RUN.

Good that you spotted the significant link between the place and the vehicle and were able to get them in a meaningful composition. The driver’s activity adds a lot too. He appears to be making a grand entrance, but your later explanation and closer inspection reveal he was not making a triumphant leap, but trying to avoid making a painful heap.

It is a very attractive cat in a very attractive pose, peering through the greenery.

They are very beautiful, and romantic, scenes. I like the first best, as it leads from the waterfall, through the trees to the mountains and sky.
I am not a fan of making photos look like paintings. Copying the style of a painter, yes, in fact I enjoy that, but not making it look like a painting. Interestingly, I couldn’t see a difference at first, only when I enlarged them to full iPad size did the difference become obvious, which goes to show how few pixels we really need to make a convincing photo!

Lovely water lilies, and you have captured the gradation of the pinks well. Both are good, but I prefer the composition of the second, which I think is due to all the leaves in the first being cut off.

There is just enough information to allow me to guess that it shows the bow of a boat, but not too much, which would allow me to be sure or not even have to think about it. The puzzle means the viewer has to spend time with the image and notice the details and textures in the process.

I enjoy this little study, making different pictures of the same thing.
The third one is a beautiful abstract, very calm and relaxing, but I think the second is probably my favourite. The jerky movement has made lots of shallow arcs of colour, and created a texture. It is a more unusual ICM image than the third.
Actually, even the first is such a repeating pattern, that it is also quite abstract and enjoyable.

What a wonderfully brooding scene! The sky is very foreboding, almost evil, and the clouds did you a huge favour with those brighter lines, which you were able to use to follow the slope of the land, and the bright patch of sky being the same height as the land.
The lights just appearing are very welcome, adding a bit of warmth and the promise of shelter in a dark inhospitable setting.
