No, I wouldn’t like to be him. “The elephant never did that before!” is not a good epitaph!
The series tells the story, but as a single photo I like the first the best. The elephant staring at the man, seemingly touching him with its trunk, creates a bit of suspense about what is going on and what the outcome will be, which encourages the viewer to stop and look.
As you say. Like most visitors to this part of the world, I had taken many shots of abused bikes and motorcycles. It was only a couple of days ago that I noticed the sign and realized what I had.
Let's do an exercize in photo-editing like for a magazine.
The four images together form a good sequence that sells the suspense and the action.
But if we had to limit our contribution to just one image, it would be one of the ones that I kept here.
The elephant touching the "victim" with his trunk is a nice touch, but not as essential as the actual walking.
The third image has a less spectacular positioning of the elephant's feet.
So I am torn between the second and fourth.
Apart from that, your elephant essay reminded me of an old joke.

In a circus, a crocodile handler has a great and dangerous act.
He taps the crocodile gently on the head and it opens its mouth.
He drops his pants and lays his penis on the tongue of the crocodile.
He hits the animal hard on the head but it does not snap its mouth shut.
Instead it gently closes its mouth but (pheww...) not totally.
The croc reopens its mouth and the wrangler takes out his penis.
The artist then asks the audience for a brave volunteer to repeat the act.
An old lady raises her hand and says:
“OK. I’ll try it, but just don’t hit me on my head that hard.”

If it were mine, I would crop away the roofs at the very top.
The nice window and the trees can stay: they balance nicely with the trees in the foreground.
But that roof does not add anything for me and it is just a horizontal wasteland in an otherwise OK diagonal composition.
This is so full of meaning.
(And we don't even need to know that we are in Pisa, although the knowledge of the leaning tower behind us, echoes nicely with the fallen angel.)
The crux, of course, is in the juxtaposition of billboarded utopia (pace is not the english "pace" but the italian for peace) against hard reality.
We may dream of and hope for peace, but there is not much of that in the world currently.
The wings of peace don't take flight, but lay shot down and grounded.
When snails consider the exchange of bodily juices, they really go for it!
I prefer the panorama proportions and who/whatever designed these falls definitely had those proportions in mind.
Everyone of the pano shots has at least one line that stretches right across the frame. They mark contrasting edges of colour and texture that create scale on an awe inspiring scene.
Quck Notes:
Shot 1. The sheer amount of water in its different states impresses.
Shot 2. Wonderful and unexpected positioning of the photographer. A photographer in paradise. We look out at what he sees without him blocking the view.
Shot 3 The coin in the slot viewers will be recognized by all travelers. It needs to be a knockout spot to warrant this many and the point is made. Pareidolia. The viewers have taken on a life of their own.
Shot 4. Straight from the minniev dam series. Turbulent water in blues and creams. A bird in flight caught at the very best moment to silhouette it against a background.
I could go on about all of them but 7 gets a special mention. I love the humour of the repeating, wet gear enclosed heads. Put this shot next to shot 3.
IMNHO, the composition is fine. Including the train adds more interest to the diagonal line, especially as the train involves the viewer by pointing more or less towards us. The roof area right across the top is fine with me too. It is similar in colour and detail to the bridge structure and seems to complement the bridge rather than detract from it. The pylon? on the far right, ditto as is links the bridge to the roof area. I'd suggest removing the white object, bottom left. I feel it intrudes on the other linked forms.

Snails are obviously faster workers than reputed.
There's a nice contrast between all the sharp, straight edges and the sinuous curves. Likewise the golden browns and greens.
I don't see any issues with your kit lens.
The composition frames up the stares with line and colour.
I like 3 for precisely the reason that 1 and 2 don't appeal to me. In 1 and 2, the shape of the subect(s) gets confused by the lines/textures around it. In 3, the flowers are positioned so they stand out distincly from their background. Of course, the complementary colours and different luminescence help as well. The contrast between the simple shapes of the daffodils and the man made stuctures is striking.
In 5, I like the retention of the street detail as a background for the movement.
6 has a little twist to the lonely bench story. The two benches and their shadows create multiple multiple lines moving the eye to the monument at the back. The art works on the backs of the benches beautifully combine art with practicality in a public space. Kudos to the designer.
Beautiful images of Niagara. The first has a remarkable sunset colors. Loe the fall-bow photo, one of the clearest I've seen.
It is hard to get original images of places like Niagara (I have tried many times there, when my son was living in Buffalo). There are limited angles and predictable tourist crowds and unpredictable weather. You managed to get some very original ones!
(Like the Amish visitor image a lot).
What a jolly family! Quite a load on the cycle, but perhaps they only made a quick trip to pick up some locally advertised wares. They have no more room for other kids on that thing.
Very nicely composed image. Horizonals, verticals, and diagonals all well aligned to lead the eye through the image from either direction quite easily. The colors are eye pleasing too - the golden browns and turquoise work so well together. As for the focus, it looks like the focus was locked on some parts of the upper level of the bridge. It gives an initial impression of intent, for the purpose of suggesting motion, so it doesn't yell "missed focus", it says softy "moving train".
Nice set with plenty of variety. I think I like the church with the daffodils in front. Those blues and yellows always grab me.
It took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at. Good job of capturing a creative advertisement in a creative way. My initial thought was "why didn't he take it straight ahead" then I saw why. Though that might have been equally interesting in a different way.
RF22 appears very cheerful and confident in her stepover move. Nice clear photos that show even the expressions on the faces of the audience, and the ubiquitous cell phone, aimed and at the ready.
Quite symbolic for our present times, a peace angel fallen and broken, wings driven into the ground. With a backdrop of chains and grated windows. The arrangement of objects is not subject to the photographer's will here, but the choice of inclusion is. And you chose well with your placement. The rectangle motif, in its bright colors, covers the entire background, with the angel lying askew across them, head pointed towards the Peace poster. Well spotted and well taken.
