Have any of.you seen a way to unsubscribe from the DPReview Forum?
I looked around my Profile and didn't see a way.
I kind of don't like the idea of walking off and leaving my email and a password just laying around in somebody's database.

After April 10, it’ll kind of just take care of itself.

I found it at the same place where you can request your data. Don't know if it is somewhere else too. Close account it says. It doesn't say if they delete your details, but I guess that's as close as it gets.

I learned that if you go here:
    www.dpreview.com/delete-account
You can fill out a form and ask to have your user account deleted.
They will send you an email and ask you to click on a link to verify your request.
They say that all accounts will be deleted on April 10, but you can take this step ahead of time, if you wish.

For those requesting account deletions, etc…members who have requested it in the last have emailed me saying it took weeks…and sometimes as long as a month. I think any requests now will just be ignored.

Yup. I requested deletion via the mentioned form and the verification email the same day it was announced dpreview was closing. No confirmation since and I can still access dpreview.
