Nice addition to otherwise boxy building. But in second image I'd like to see bit more on left side, to see the connection of this guarded part on bottom with building. Now it seems to hang.

I like this Anglezarke image, nice scenery and great light in sky.
Deer encounter was great for sure, I always get hunter's rush when enounter some wild animals.

This month's weather in the centre of Vienna! The disfiguring advert can only be explained by greed!

That advert really doesn't belong there. I am surprised it was allowed.

Yes, that advert spoils the architecture.

This sort of barbarity as well as tourist information panels, various posters, Fairy Lights and such, are a constant pain in the rear for my Architectural photography.

We have a culture that try's its best to make the lovely architecture of the past ugly.

I assume that the people who live behind the two big adverts have been well paid for not being able to see through their windows, or have been sent on an all-expenses paid cruise to warmer climes!

Alternatively, the leases to the apartments have expired and the buildings are being tarted up in preparation for raising the rents. This is a very popular game for property owners around here. One nice old building not far away was demolished not long ago. The replacement building has more floors with lower ceilings, and a lot of it will end up as Air BNB apartments.

Some really cool picture here this week! Very enjoyable to peruse. I needed to be at an early evening appointment and happened to have the camera with me. It was dark and there was a light rain (a few small droplets landed on the front element). While processing the shot, I noticed Santa in his car. We have had 2 weeks of wind, rain and flooding -- and there was a slight break in the weather pattern to take a picture.
