Seems like this club updated the lighting set, previously they had only ceiling lights, but now there were also floor lights in front of drums stage, making these nice light rays and they added quite lot to visuals. This makes shooting even more challenging as you have to fight against 2 sets of counter lights, but where's fun if it were easy :P

First shot is really facinating, love it. Maybe bit too tightly framed but everything else is very good: the scene, captured moment, processing.

Seems like castle made for sitting out hard times, in the middle of nowhere... But with great views so you can enjoy them while waiting something to happen.

Thank you, this is greatest praise when someone admits that he is not interested in photographed subjects but still enjoys photos.
On other hand I expect that these photos are liked by music lovers and musicians without questions asked :P

These shots are really interesting, black birds on white snow and especially their shadows.

What a good advice to look up! I usually look for birds on my nature walks so I tend to look up but this pays off also in other environments.

Thanks, I blame beer for taking too many shots, not the distorted shots: I like to go with wide angle close into action from public viewpoint, mirrorless cameras and framing through back LCD allows to get quite close without being on stage or fearing that something could happen while framing through viewfinder (getting in a way of artist or overly excited public member).

The rich colours of the first and the paper thin focal plane of the third for me.

No 6 is a clear winner to my eyes.
