this mornings walk with little friends and stockers

Managed to get out of my bed this morning
1 Jackdaw
2 Rook
3 Robin
4 Blue Tit
5 Robin

A nice set of birds Paul, none of which we have here!

Thanks Andrew u probably have ur version of the robin I'm surprised u have no rooks or jackdaws ?

Only crows/ravens here Paul and our robins are not at all like yours. They are larger while yours are 'tit' sized like our chickadees which really are 'tits'. Our robin would make three of yours. They are not particularly photogenic. Nice to see them early in the year as they are among the first signs of spring here.

Thanks Rich We have lots of rooks and jackdaws both of which are very intelligent ,the little blue tits are very colourful glad u liked it ,I always like to post a tit for a certain Viking ask Dave it’s pays to keep her happy 😀

I must say I don't find the thought of blue tits very appealing. Like the sparrow though! 😃

And WTH is stockers? 😑

Sorry Charlotte just noticed my spelling mistake should have read Stalkers 😀 the rooks and jackdaws stalk u and when u put seed down for the small birds 🐦 they come down and chase them away and eat there food

So you use tricks to lure them in reach for your camera! I suspected there was something fishy going on! 😱😃

I don't buy that stockers was a typo. It's probably a stick with glue on it or some other horrible device.🤔

Your bird images are excellent Paul. I can't for the life of me understand how you persuade the birds to pose so nicely for you. Birds see me and disappear in a flash. Must be the way I look.

I enjoy sitting here watching the birds fly in almost as much as walking the trails with you ... This appears to be a lot like what I am doing these days .. I'll pull up a chair as I already have my coffee with me this morning ... great variety are these all resident? ....
