    Work on replacing tramlines on a major route into and out of Vienna has been limping along for several months!

    It's not often you get to take pictures from on the rails. Nice perspective.

    Thank you Alan. As can be seen on the LHS, there were railings to keep people from crossing the site. What you cant see is that I was standing on an improvised bridge over the rails, which wobbled every time someone walked on it! But the worst part was the 1 km uphill walk I had afterwards, because of the repairs! 😀

    Really like the snaky pattern of the rails disappearing into the background.

    I'm amazed you were allowed to wander onto the construction site to take your picture.

    There was a primitive wobbly bridge to allow people to cross the road, and I stood on that, waiting for a lull in the foot traffic.
