I have been experimenting with editing street photography past its often strict and confining conventions to include art effects. Often when viewing photography the viewer takes the perspective of relating to the scene in a very literal sense. However, by adding artistic perspectives and elements the viewer can interpret the scene with a broader perspective. Here the original photo captured an inline skater skating along a promenade. The artistic effect changes the scene to a more paint like image. And, asks the viewer to bring more to it when interpreting it or relating to it.

The creative aspect is of course up to the creator, but in this case the small size of the image sorta limits its potential.

Yes, too small as displayed here. I would have preferred it if the camera had been more to the left, so that the skater covered the two boys. But we all have different ideas! 😀

By too small do you mean the photo's dimensions or the angle of view?

    Hi Catcher
    Welcome to the forum.
I'm pretty sure they both mean too few pixels in the image.
Especially with larger, high res monitors they look very small on the screen and there's hardly any detail visible

Fireplace is correct except I don't have a large screen, just 1366 x 768 laptop, and the image only covers about 1/3 horizontal and 1/2 vertical. Nowhere near enough to see any detail.

You can post very large images if you wish - everybody has 10Gb of space to play with. Just bear in mind that downloading them (to view) may take time. Personally, I tend to post 4k sized images (so 3840 x 2160).

I think it’s a neat image, and I love the Street Youth Couture From Unwanted Kids tank top.
