    Have you tried Ventusky.com?

    Here you go

    reg.bom.gov.au/products/IDR083.loop.shtml#skip

But I believe they are reverting back to the original anyway after all the kerfuffle.

There's not a lot of difference. Most of the functions behave the same. Some of the more powerful features may may not be there - I couldn't get solve to work but that could have been me coupled with less than explicit documentation...

That strikes home as I sit in my wheelchair in front of the computer at 85 after neck spine surgery and a triple bypass, barely able to walk unaided and with permanently shaking hands. Not much tenure left for me; thanks for the reminder ...

    Hope it's true.
Now if we can just stop them sexing up every puff of wind and raindrop during interviews, we'll know we're not on a commercial station. Just the facts, Ma'am, is all that's required and crying wolf will undoubtedly have the predictable result.

Thanks for the Libre gee up, FWIW I'm finding "find the video" more effective than "find some documentation".
Most of it doesn't bother me, but converting/trouuble-shooting my older/bigger macros down the track, worries me.

Today's the day, according to DPR ... not up yet, as of 15:00 UTC ...

They didn't say WHEN on Tuesday, plus they are on USA time, so it could be anytime...

No such thing as "USA time", there's at least five timezones here.

    Hi,

They are late. Tuesday began at 00:00. I use UTC here in the US. But by any Contental US timezone, they are still late.

    Do I need the :P ?

Actually, I would be surprised if they made it by any time in any timezone which is 11/4. It is a major undertaking and that would be without....bugs....

Major undertaking for sure and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't actually pull it off. They are in totally uncharted territory with ZenForo - none of the other ZF sites have anywhere near the traffic nor data size that DPR has.

Although the banner mentioned Tuesday, I just read their comment on the front page which said expected to be back up on Wednesday...

    U got that right ...

    As of 14:30 UTC Nov 5th ...

The forums will enter read‑only mode on Friday, October 31, at 1:00 pm Pacific (20:00 UTC). During the read-only period, you can continue to browse, read, and search the forums, but you won't be able to create new posts or upload photos. We expect the forums to come back online beginning Wednesday, November 5.

Hopefully, Guy Fawkes is not lurking under their building ...

Just tried it just now ... still read only .... hopefully it will be back up and running soon ... but it's the entire site so maybe hiccups ....

They have a LOT of stuff to migrate. I'm not surprised it's running late.
