    I like the picture, Paul. I always like monochrome … and yet this picture has me staying with it a bit as that 2X3 vertical presentation has me thinking, ... as we usually use a horizontal view for these land/seascapes .. So it stops me and I'm, considering. Also that rock in the middle instead of the left bottom of the picture has me thinking. These did get me to spend more time and consider the implication of these compositional decisions …. OTOH not sure you asked for the &C … hope you don't mind my having a second cup of coffee as I sit her looking out at the sea …

    An attractive image Paul and I like the processing. Dramatic with a good range of tonal values in the right places.

    Don’t mind at all WN I always appreciate ur photos and opinion Spend a bit of time on this rock from different angles liked this one the best have as many cups of coffee as u want but don’t go in the water to cold and stormy 😀 .This is my one of my first monochrome images and I see pentax today has just announced the new pentax K3 III Monochrome camera .

    I like it too, but I'm afraid I like the colour version better.

    Thanks Rich the Monochrome version is growing on me I never really thought of landscapes/seascapes in Black and white but they definitely work and are worth a try when taking the colure version Paul
