Lightroom Classic on Mac Studio crashing

Hoping everyone has made transition here. The forums have been a great resource for many of us.

Anyone having trouble with LrC opening? I reinstalled several times, rebooted, trashed preferences, and it won't even open with a fresh, new library.
Mac Studio M1 Max, 32 GB, Ventura 13.3.1. It takes all the memory and takes a really long time to open (if at all).

Does the LrC binary native on Apple Silicon or does it run under Rosetta II? What you describe I would think is an issue with the LRC binary.

The Adobe forum has several reports similar to yours. Does it work from an alternate login account?

Thanks. I followed the instructions. I even had Adobe work with me and it seemed to work the other day. Crashing again!. They had me delete a file (??json) and that seemed to take care of it.

This is so frustrating!

Thanks for the help

Edit: metrics.json moved to trash and all is well. What is in that file that corrupts everything? And why would it keep happening?

When I have had confounding problems in the past, I always checked this subforum on old DPR, Lightroom Queen, and the Apple Support site as well as Adobe. I have not had this problem. I have the same machine as you and Lightroom Classic but have not yet updated to Ventura.
