It's a beautiful shot! I think color work like this will always be very subjective, so it's probably of very limited value in terms of feedback, but if I would try to go for a look like this, I would prefer to:

a.) go all in and make them even more intense:

    or

b.) reduce the number of colors and focus more on the interesting center part:

Simplejoy said it well. The colors in a piece of digital art such as this are highly subjective. They might appeal to the maker but not to the viewer. Just curious, is it also a composite?

    thank you @simplejoy

Yes, this type of image is very subjective and in hindsight I should have put in in Samples and Galleries, not here.

I tried different colour gradings and this is the one that worked best for me. You can spend hours fiddling with these types of edit 🤔

No, it's not a composite in terms of adding/deleting scene elements but it is not the documentary version.

Below is the documentary version I processed from raw and then edited to output the image in my op.

Lovely photo. I like the color palette you've chosen. It's mysterious :)

When you start with a photo with excellent balance-based composition, sharp capture, an interesting subject, and overcast sky with detail in it, there's absolutely no end to the creative versions you can make of it. Your original is very appealing in spite of and partly because of the gray sky, because it allows for the original subtle color palette to become more accessible than it would have with a pretty blue sky. Your submitted version is also a fine image, and your choice of colors is bold but they work well together. The little touches like the lighting on the hanging fronds of leaves help sell the fantasy. I like SimpleJoy's second offering too. Lovely work.

Thank you for your comments @minniev. I'm glad you like it.

My normal workflow is to first create a documentary version of my photos and then where I feel it is applicable, play around with different looks and feels to see if I can come up with an artistic version that works for me.
