Was any shift done? Why the right post tilting right and left one tilting left?

Maybe the lampposts are designed like that. The post with the sign just behind the one on the right does not seem tilted

Correct, the lampposts are not completely upright.

The lens is amazing (not to speak of the photographer), and the buildings are too. I love that fresco and the reassuring invitations on the Italian restaurant's façade.

Absolutely Chief, a night shot or even a 'blue hour' would be awesome. Still, I'm quite happy the way the lens handled the situation.
