Just a Hooded/Grey-back Crow this morning

Crows and their relatives are underestimated. They are beautiful birds. So is the photo. I really must stop sucking up to you like this! But I can't help I like your stuff.

Very nice shot, but I think a little bit too magenta. Possibly an auto WB correction somewhere influenced by all the green. Easily adjusted.

On my screen too. The tiny cast in the gray part over its shoulders is probably from the sky.

The magenta is there on my screen as well but imo it is still a good picture though.

I see now I did add a bit of vignette maybe that’s what has caused it 🙂

After some googling I believe this picture to be perfectly fine as the magenta cast seems natural for this species, almost every other picture of this species shows the same color.

That's one fine looking crow.
I love the tri-color look.
Much more stylish than our all black crow.

I like this picture and like most of yours I like how you get the environment into the story .. .... Magenta? ..... I played a bit with it and the differences I see is in lowering the magenta makes the scene a bit cooler so just what temperature you want to show us .. I'm not bothered at all by the amount of magenta I see here .. just a warm spring morning ... so let's pull up as chair get some coffee and see where your friend goes ...

They are lovely Jimmy usually in pairs one eats while the other looks out for such a Large bird very timid and easily frightened 🙂
