Is there something strange / new from DPR??

Received a few minutes ago some notification emails of activities on my DPR account. 👀

It was about private messages I received in !! March !! 🤦‍♂️

Just checked mine and noting there. Not sure what that would mean.

I’ve now had 41 notification emails - updates about ‘new’ activity on DPReview - over the last few hours – they are coming in batches and all dated in March, 2023.

Edit: Now have turned off all email notifications in Settings - to avoid inbox being swamped.

I don't use (enable) emsil notification of my account on DPR, nothing from them do far.

I perfer log on to see the notification to keep my email a count cleaner.

Similar Q were asked on DPR and some suspicion on hacking activities there(?)...

Just got 16 of them, all at once. Could it be their way of sending us our data?

Earlier today, got 4 email notifications in a row about old PM's I read months ago.

They say in the thread I linked to that doesn't help. I already had notifications for forum posts off and that works. I only get notifications for PMs.

It was actually good this happened. I'd like to save my PMs but hadn't thought about it before. I'll go do that now.

Yes it helps. If you already had deactivated before this notification spree. At last it worked that way for me.
