Sorry, I don't understand what "easy sub" and "in sub" mean. Can you expand on those please?

I guess he meant a SUBscribed button to get alerts and notifications.

I've not found one, but I put a shortcut on my desktop to
dprevived.com/c/open-talk/44/
or even the one-level-higher

You can subscribe to a thread by clicking on the button at the bottom as shown here:
once done, you can select only subscribed threads to view by viewing threads, click on 'all threads' and then selecting 'subscribed ones' as per this picture:
