hi guys how do you stop emails being sent regarding forum activity ? i cant find how to.

they were all set to off . i hit the save button anyway will see what happens.

I don't think I've received any from here, but I logged into DPR forum to check it out & ended up with a flood of messages over the weekend. (I've now deselected e-mail news from there)
Perhaps the forum default here changed between our sign ups, as I don't think I had to change it here. -
I wonder if the forum options are just a default, and you might need to turn it off on individual threads which might have had it turned on before.

You can check all your subscribed threads at: dprevived.com/threads/subscribed/
The button on the right of each thread with a star indicates subscription status and you can click it to change it.
A half filled star indicates subbed without email, a filled star indicates subbed with email notifications.
It’s also shown inside a thread at the bottom of the page, next to the blue reply button.

thanks i had no idea what that button was . how do you quote in the middle of someone's post ?

You can add a partial quote by selecting/highlighting the part of their post you want to quote, and a button will pop up that says “quote”.
You have to add your comments outside the quote block otherwise it becomes part of the quoted text.
You can do this multiple times in one post, and add comments between the quote blocks.
