I'm asking if the forums can be developed to have a footer that is the same as the header for selecting categories and the like. Basically I don't like it when I'm scrolled down a very long thread, get to the end, and can't go where I want because the links I want are all way back at the top of the page. I'd like not to have to scroll back up or back up a page just to get to the links at the top of pages. I just want a set of links at the bottom of pages too.

I agree - I mentioned this a few days ago. Too much scrolling involved now - but also, the small number of developers involved probably have more urgent matters at the moment!

Agreed-squared. Those "bread crumbs" at both the top and the bottom are such a nice feature.

I agree as well - and it's large on my list to discuss with BobN2. It's the first thing I do with my PhpBB forums.

I’m not against a persistent header, but on tablets and phones you can just tap the top of the screen. On computers the keyboard accommodates this. With Macs its Fn + Left Arrow
