I've added the ability to upload Excel spreadsheets - extensions .xls and .xlsx only. You can't display them, but they can be downloaded by others.
Any issues, please let me know.

Brilliant. I've just tested it by successfully uploading my Sony RX10 IV Menu spreadsheet to the Sony Cyber-Shot talk forum. It is free for anyone to use if it is of any use to them

I had a need to do just that a while back, so that is good news.
I use Open Office but it would be no problem for me to 'save as' XLS before up-loading a spreadsheet.

I would definitely upload spreadsheets If I could. I upload images of summaries of spreadsheet data from time to time, but anyone looking at them can't check what I've done with my raw data. I use LibreOffice.
