    Our crabapple just came into bloom. Smells great, and looks pretty good too.

    Very nice, particularly the last two. I am amazed that you managed to get so many buds in focus at f/5--f/7. You must have been lucky to find them all at the same distance from the lens!

    These are lovely Jim. Very nice out of focus background with the last. You don't need a dot sight for these! I suspect the last was shot with your long lens! The first looks pretty much as ours did at that same time! You have lighter flowers than we do though. We got talked into the 'new darker' variety. I like the pinker ones better.

    It is supposed to hit about 79 here this afternoon. I think it was that yesterday afternoon as well. I can hear that %^&* grass growing as I type!

    Thanks Andrew. Yep, used the O100-400. No dot-sight required.
    The last was my favorite too.
    There are so many varieties of crabapple now - all pretty this time of year.
