Selecting the "Forum" button at the top of the page produces a drop-down menu, but moving the cursor down the list does not cause any submenus to appear and nothing can be selected.

You need to click on subitems. Apparently mouse cursor does not indicate that - little bug.

I cannot click on subitems. The drop-down menu disappears as soon as I release the mouse button.

    Not here.
I click on Forums (and relase button too) - submenu opens. Submenu is partially on top of Forums menu item - if it is detached for you, then I could see a problem (leaving menus area closes submenu).
Then I move mouse down and click on any item - next level menu opens and so on.

Click through works okay here, though I don’t get “the finger” until I reach, as shown in this example… Bridge Camera Talk.

    Version 10.13.6
    Mac mini (Mid 2010)

    Firefox 112.0.2 (64-bit)

I have just solved the problem by clearing cookies and logging in again. Everything else seemed to work ok, but anyway that seems to have solved it.
    Thanks to all who replied.

    ArvoJ and jaberg like this.

Found problem with menus. If menu invoked by mouse pressed on redzone, menu opened, but after releasung key it's dissapeared.
But if press in center zone, with text, so menu open and work fine.
This problem observed on only firefox (112.0.2 (64-bit) for windows 10). But in Edge (chrome based) this issue don't reproduced.
I don't test it on classic google chrome.
