An Autumn Leaf

hmmmmm..........not sure what to make of this one.

Your title reads "An Autumn Leaf" but in monochrome it could be from any time of the year.

I wonder if a colour version, maybe still with a darkish background, but showing the leave's autumn colours would have more impact.

I like this one better but the background is too light for me. A darker background is better for my eyes.

I see in your exif that the Usage Terms are "Not for re-use except for education/illustration." so to illustrate what I mean, something along this line works better for me given the title for your image.

In any case, when viewed at 100% the monochrome leaf seems to be a little sharper than the colour version. This might be due to the "sharpening effect" you sometimes get when you downsize an image as has been done to your monochrome version. The colour image is larger in pixel dimensions.
