Great shots! Indeed - Iceland has some of the greatest blue tones I've ever seen. It's really incredible.

Yes — this photograph was created as an interpretation of the (English translation of) the lyrics for the (other)DPR challenge by that title. A photographic quote if you will.

So no dutch roots, had just a minute the idea you might be dutch or have dutch roots 😁

My maternal grandmother was adopted and my paternal ancestors were a seafaring people who took their wives…and mistresses…as it suited them, but no Dutch that I’m aware of.

My interpretation has been favorably commented on by native speakers though.
