When I browse through a list of post, I would like to see who authored the post before clicking on it.
I would also like to see how many others have viewed a post before I click on it.
I don't understand the significance of the box icon (blue / grey) to the left side of the post title.
The blue marker indicates if there are unread posts within that thread, click it to jump to the first. Grey means you've read everything within. Hovering over the icon shows a tooltip to confirm this.
While it is interesting knowing who the last responder to a post was … I think for me it is more useful to know who the original poster was and whom I am responding to …. I have on couple occasions made the mistake of thinking I was responding to the person whose icon is showing with post … probably part of the adventures in aging ….

As a community we become friends with certain members and like to view their post (should be easy to understand) 😊
I agree with Willy79, It's like seeing the name of the person calling us on the phone, before answering.
And seeing the date can become interesting, over time.
I have put these various requests into the system. Let's see what pops out.
