This is my first attempt at an astro-skyscape composite. Two exposures were required to get the width I wanted (I suppose I could have wandered the beach to get a better framing but I didn't). I originally used ISO 3200 with a 15 second exposure at f/2.0 based on suggested values from an OM Ambassador however that was WAAAY over exposed. These ended up being ISO 320 at 8 seconds (f/2.0). Campfire glow at the bottom of the shot. Comments and critique requested![composite.jpg](/a/thumb/YEClx8AQ0PvcQzNUySMvrivmx6QGZ74HNA1ddbfWc7jkUZzm0s1tZZLPTi619Jou/8433/?shva=1)

    Hello!
Good as a first attempt, but I think it is a bit too dark, and it would have been interesting to include a bigger portion of the landscape in the image...

Agreed. I would have liked to get the ocean but the campfires blew everything out..

    I'll keep trying.

From the same night, the Dipper (or Ursa Major) almost directly overhead.

Pretty happy with Starry Sky AF.

    Hi!
I find it very nice how the color of the stars has been preserved. And i think you also have Polaris…

Here's the portion of the sky with Haystack in the image (Venus is missing off to the right). In this one I also adjusted the exposure in post so the overall image wasn't as dark (but I darkened Haystack).
