I wonder if there is -or if there will be- and option to upload images directly from the Photo album from my iPhone to here. No luck so far!

Thanks and happy week to all!

This is most likely due to iOS using the HEIC image format rather than JPG. Support for that image format is a mess across operating systems, photo viewers, web browsers etc. I read one article that suggested if you used the share option in the photos app to copy images to another folder, they might convert to jpg, but I haven’t tested this myself yet.

Copying photos from the Photos app and pasting them in a folder in the Files app converts the photos from HEIC to JPG format.

On my cellphone, the top menu does not show the arrow icon (as in my Mac), so I don't think it has anything to do with supported format, and yes, I know HEIC sucks.

iPhones will automatically convert HEIC to JPG on export. However, the image file size may exceed the site's limit. If so you can run the image through an app like Image Size first.

Here’s an (older) image posted directly from my Photo Library using my iPhone…

I believe you’ll find the upload file arrow underneath the three stacked dots…

And HEIC rocks. I just wish they’d support it at a 12 or 14-bit depth.

That would have been a useful piece of info in your original post to assist with your issue…
