Joined the site yesterday after having spent around 20 years posting in DPreview. I have selected the option to download my data unfortunately I had already deleted all my image files from my gallery.

I’m surprised in a way how active DPReview still is, I guess people are enjoying the last hurrah and making the most of it while it still has the biggest crowd, but ultimately that’s going to hit the buffers and I suspect there’s still more of an influx to come. Most of us are just the early adopters 😉

I am wondering how close to a logistic growth it is but for that, one needs a few data points…

Another DP review refugee...hope this board has lots of traffic in the coming months.

Based on the number of people posting/participating in some of the subject areas I "hung out most in" over on the "old" DPR site, it seems we have only a tiny fraction of the usual crew here so far. That includes the people who would be considered the heavy hitters and/or frequent posters in the typical threads (in those forums) at DPR. Of the top 30 or 40 posters I encountered on a daily basis there, I've so far only seen two or three of them here.

What that means, I think, is that there is a fair bit more room for growth here before we've "got most of the active DPReview people" on board.

I have just joined moved over from DPR, Hello Everyone.

I suspect there might be another surge after April 10 when reality will definitely kick-in to those still in denial back at DPReview :-)

Some areas still very quiet, but I'm hoping that with change when DPR gets the coup de grace in 10 days time.
