    When changing to the "Threads" view on the home page, you are supposed to see the options "All categories" and "All threads". In a mobile browser, this works only when you hold the device in landscape/horizontal mode. But if you see the screen in a narrower portrait/vertical mode, the "All threads" option goes missing.

    The “All Threads” option is missing in both views (Portrait and Landscape) when using Safari/iOS 16.5 (Public Beta)

    Great post - I thought it didn’t work at all on mobile - but it DOES work in landscape mode. Thanks for the tip!

    @hlmuc

    That’s because the page that you are viewing in portrait orientation… is all Threads.
    All Categories is a drop-down menu.

    Everything works for me on iOS 15.7.4

    It is confusing at best - by simply turning the screen, it switches between the following:

    You can also simulate the same with a desktop browser: run it in a window (not maximized) and make the window narrower until the view flips from wide-screen to vertical screen mode.

    I’m confused about something or other most days. lol

    Mr. Google says…

    “Mobile web pages are designed for handheld devices and are quite different from pages made for desktop reading. While you can usually view the desktop version of a webpage on a mobile device, and vice versa, they are designed differently to make content easier to view, read, and navigate.”

    iOS (iPhone) or iPadOS ?

    In the screenshots @hlmuc provides it looks like his phone is switching to the desktop version of the website in landscape orientation. Here are the two views from my iPhone…
