    3 Swans and photographer

Some people shoot sunrise, I'm too lazy for this (sun rised 4:40 AM today...) so I shoot sunset, but even for this I'm too late, this photo is made 5 minutes after sunset:

    Great sunset colour!
I'm just as lazy as you when it comes to getting up early for sun rises ;-)

A couple of days on the Gower peninsula last week.

Rhossili bay. We had planned to walk across the tidal causway to Worms Head, but the wind was making conditions unpleasant so we gave up on that and just strolled around the clifftops.

A distant view of Worms Head with waves crashing right up the cliffs confirmed we had made the right decision!

Lovely set ,it brings back memories of my student days in Swansea. Walked around the Gower Peninsular and Jumped off the top of Rhossili with a hanglider a few times :-)

I have not had an opportunity to do much photography this week, as it has rained all week, disastrously so in Romagna.

I found another Terracotta group of life-size figures, this time near to home in Reggio. They are in a little church in the centre of town that only opens for Mass. So I crept in at the end of the service and had about five minutes to do some pictures. The group is made up from the remains of several groups, in fact John appears twice. The figures date from the fifteenth century and are probably by at least three of artists, including Mazzoni, one of the most famous terracotta artists. They were crudely repainted in the nineteenth century. The Christ figure comes from Tuscany and was added in the nineteen fifties.

    Well photographed!
You have a knack of finding these things and the background story to go with them

Maybe this one was a dentist ? :-)

Thats why everyone loves dentists :)

Ah... Those were the days 😊 There seem to be fewer hangliders now. More camper vans trying to sqeeze down the narrow lanes.

I love the colours in this, but I'm not sure the passer-by adds anything in this case.

Surely the guy has just removed the nail from Christ's hand/foot? ... Or maybe he's a dentist.... Either way the facial expression is priceless.

Yes that's it, he is removing the nails from Christs body.
