A couple of a sunset from a small rise in town this evening - there aren't many spots for an uninterrupted view.

I still had my 100-400 on when I pulled up so took a couple before swapping to the 12-60. Things change pretty quickly and I might have missed the best of it...

    Hot hot hot !

A couple out the back door -- since I have been a bit "challenged" lately in the landscape department. This is all I could muster over the past week.

Streams never fail us as long as we carry a tripod :)

    Ouse Valley Viaduct

I prefer not to make photos of the places are abundantly photographed by masses but it is my first time I have been there and it is a magnificent piece of engineering! I will share more on a showcase thread.

This is a shot I would never have thought to take. But I really like it. It's a really interesting composition, with the tree branches parallel to the frame. The longer exposure makes a great contrast of the water - I think it would not have worked with 'freeze' frame water.

Thank you. I know there can be quite the debate on how to photograph flowing water. I lean more into the milky/long exposure side for most, and this spot is a favorite for getting images with that flowing water effect.

Agreed! I even bought a water resistant/proof tripod and wading boots specifically to get into the water for different perspectives.

Great image. Tonality works well, and certainly get a feel for the scale.

This is a wonderful image. The ultra wide angle works for this.
