That's a real nice view over the Thames. The murky water looks very clean and inviting here.
The light in the sky and on the water tends to pull you right into the picture.
The B&W processing with lots of contrast has highlighted those clouds and their reflections very well.
In Austria they are called "sheep clouds" which are apparently "Altocumulus" in English. They look pretty but are often a sign of a weather front approaching, bringing bad weather.So a bit like a "wolf in sheep's clothing" :-)
Keeping the buildings dark, allows the reflections on the glass windows to shine out.

A peaceful scene at the end of the day. The light is warm now, but I can imagine that the air will soon turn cooler as the sun disappears.
The reflection line of the sun on all those small ripples is good.
Whispy clouds have caught that last light very well. I can see how you have used the branch at the top right as framing, and to balance the setting sun, but as an altrenative those whispy clouds alone could do the same job, if you crop the image at the top to just below the bottom of the branch and just a bit off the bottom, it makes the image a bit less tall and concentrates more on the colour range you spotted.

This unpretentious shot just sums up perfectly a summer evening in North Uist. Lovely delicate colours and lots of sky (double ration even 😀)

Yes, the reflections are nice - begs for a closer look. An abstract type image of just the reflections perhaps. But then I guess the Beaver crowd didn't leave you much time for 'reflection'. A faster speed would be good if you want to freeze the abstract effects of the ripples.

The first could be better with the swans facing you, but then you have to take what you can get. And maybe a tighter framing to lose the wall at the side and some of the water at the bottom.

The clouds in the first are indeed interesting, like two layers; one dark and one light, but both have almost the same shape and form. At first I thought we were looking at a view over a dark sea. but enlarging to the full res shows that it's a hill. The thumbnails here are really small and don't do the image justice at all. Arvo is nearly finished with the improved better previews, so hope is just around the the corner.
The bright and warm coloured grasses make a nice contrast to the blue hill and sky

In the second shot that middle branch looks a bit like an acrobat, walking gracefully across the surface of the water with very long steps,.. like doing the splits ;-)

The first shot is very peaceful and shows the springtime beauty of the cherry blossum and two graceful swans. Nice colour balance too, with the green/yellow leaves on the right. I might have cloned out the blue "beer crate" next to the left hand swan. Not quite sure how I feel about the framing used on the left with the very out of focus tree trunk?

The second shows just how many cherry treees are all in blossum and how popular that event is. I like the framing on the right here with the building, the roof and their shadows.

We have a big cherry tree flowering at the moment in our garden, looks like it will be good year for cherries. I can taste the first cherry pie already :-)
