I switched to Telegram after whatsapp changed their privacy / security in March '21. Basically allowed them to pass all your info to facebook, I believe.
Telegram is, for me, much better. Quicker, better upload limits, no annoying ads and no strangers trying to sell me apartments or gambling services! I haven't met any tin-foil-hatters there yet, but am sure they are around! 🤣

Yea, I wouldn't use Telegram for security purposes. But it does have a lot of nicer features over WhatsApp, and in general is just a lot nicer to use.

It is a good messenger and good for group discussions and following hobby type groups. My Telegram is (removed) if anyone else is on there please say hi.

Haven't tried it yet. I use WhatsApp and sometimes Signal. Is Telegram good for pics? Are you thinking of a photographic discussion group?

It is good and easy for sharing. There is a DPRevived group setup on there already.

Love Telegram, use it all the time as do my two sons and my wife, very reliable and excellent in every way, you can even do video calls, create groups, send documents, its really good
