In two different browsers - if I try to enter @ArvoJ, then I type @Arv - editor displays me combo with ArvoJ - I press Enter or Tab key, @oJ is what results. Selecting user with mouse works.
Related bug (this is not exactly same problem, but I think they can be reported together) - if I type/edit @ArvoJ, then I type @Arv - then preview/post displays "@ArvoJ, then I type , then I type @Arv" - as you can see here.

I type the @ (at) symbol and then paste ArvoJ next to it,
and then hit the enter key twice for new / first line of message.For me, when it attempts to auto-fill, it can suddenly disappear!

@ArvoJ, Yes !!!! with the column, it works fine !
While with an
-> @ J Enter <- .
-> -> @J Blank<-
it was giving me these two results!( thanks for the tip ! )

Yes, I agree - it's rubbish. It's probably something to do with this editor, but I will add it to the bug list

Its known issue, but I havent got time to replace mentions with proper react.js solution.
