I have observed that pictures are not shown unless the user is logged in. Will this be a feature of this site or will that change.. I do have daughters who occasionally might like to look in to see what I'm doing but they won't be logged in …..

Below is how I entered my image in the message editor.
Placed the URL into my message, raw, highlighted it and clicked on the image icon at the top (two mountain peaks).
It's usually an option in forums to hide images for not logged in visitors. It saves bandwidth and maybe tease people so they sign up. There can be other reasons too to show them only for members. Maybe this was on by default when the forum was installed.
