Since this is a kind of contest, the voting would be truer if it only took place after all the photos had been published. Imagine the following scenario: (a bit forced but...) The first photo published was good and I voted for it, the second was better and I voted for it, the third was even better, of course I voted for it too, and so on until the last one. Conclusion: I voted for all of them and chose none. Maybe in the end I could remove some votes, but then I'd be being rude to the author.

Thanks - we could try that option. I agree - if you load a picture on the last day, you are unlikely to win.

I think there should be a submission phase and voting phase which will give people enough time to look and vote.
