I'm still using NX-D for my D800 and D500. I figure I will update to NX Studio when I (hopefully someday) buy a D850. Is there something I'm missing not updating now?

Possibly the latest Picture Controls, when messing with NEF files

Thank you Jake for the reply. I do have a Picture Control Utility that I have used to put customized Picture Controls on my D800 and D500. My main reason for that is to better utilize Uni-WB and ETTR on those cameras.

I recall the last few versions of Studio, when editing NEF files, providing a choice of the particular Camera's Picture Controls or the Latest Picture Controls released with the newest Camera Models. I found that the Latest version, to be far better than the ones that are hard baked into the D850s circuits. They even did wonders for images from the D100/D200/D2 bodies.
