Lovely photographs. Sorry about your hot dry streak of weather. We've had hot dry weather for the last month too, but if finally rained this past weekend and this week is to be a little cooler and wetter. Hope your dry spell breaks soon too.
Hot can be good Rich, it depends upon what you like and if it is damaging. The first image is a real beauty. Nice blue sky and golden wheat! How it should be. The wheat here has not yet turned gold, but it is nearing full height. We have had a fair amount of rain in the past few days and again about a week ago so our dry spell is over at least for a while.

Same here, but below 30 so far. Extremely dry. I fear there will be emergency slaughtering and crop failure again and prices will go up, up, up. As if they hadn't already.

WE are not so far away Charlotte. The area is known as the Flemish Ardennes. I think because we have a few small hills. It's nothing like the real Ardennes...Marketing speak
It's not been good for the garden which looked great in May but has been fried since.
