My guess is that you don't NEED to log out - but when the server comes back you will need to log in again as it's on a different box (in a different country).

It might serve you well to remember the “remove site cache” hack for logging back in… just in case.

And maybe remember to clear your browser cache if you have trouble logging back in after the issues some members had after the last update.

Just to check I'm understanding this properly: On Monday, the (test) limit will be up to 4 100MB photos (presuming there's no text)?

No, at the moment, on the test forum, you can play testing a 100mb file upload and a quota of 400Mb.
When the forum goes live there will be different limits (if we stick with what the admins discussed earlier) and you won't be disappointed.

It seems that exif info is not displayed underneath previously uploaded photos. Is this just a feature of the public beta?

Yes, Martin tried to fix the decimal place bug and and got something wrong. He knows about it and it will get sorted.

It's possible Martin reset something on the test box. I haven't looked as I've been out all day.
I'll have a quick look now
[edit] - yes, it's been set back to 4096 for members. I think it's had a database refresh from the current live system. I don't want to change it in case Martin is doing something.

When I select "Forums" at the top of a page and go to an option, I have to click on the arrow at the rh end of the tablet to select it. Is it possible to make the whole tablet live, to make selection easier?

Grrr - it should have had a date by it. I'll fix all that.
As to the other stuff. I am going to write a 'how to' on the new Forum menu system. But basically, even though the cursor hasn't changed, you can click on a title and something will happen. I was delaying writing it because I want the cursor to change (but Martin needs to do that bit).
Limits are not explained anywhere apart from the 'Drum Roll' thread that I started.
