You inspire me. I haven't visited the botanical garden in year (it's upslope there!). I like the last one the best. Primary colours all the way!

A fine set of daylilies WN. Ours are not yet open. We have ones similar to all of those except the last. It is eye catcher!

Now back to processing images of briskets!

Colorful blooms WN. Short lived though. Which I think is why my wife doesn't have them.

Made my day .. inspiring you!!! By all means do visit your local Botanical Garden .. Ours is close and we've been members since it opened decades ago .. A great place for a short or long walk ... and then there are those flowers ...

Thank you Andrew .. I find it hard to believe that with all the flowers you shared in that last post that there are any not blooming yet ... Oou own garden continues to shrink as our age doesn't .... BTW I finally had the MRI today that was scheduled last month and may get to see my specialist next week to see if they found anything up there in my head ..... .. I gather you're close to such a visit for your back which I hope you no longer need as it is hopefully on the mend ...

Thanks for stopping by, Jim --- always appreciate your comments .... These seem to last into June and some of the Yellow varieties tend to last even longer putting out blooms ...

Thanks for stopping by, Rich ... I read that they like cooler temperatures. Locally they seem to start blooming in mid May but many go right on into June (80-90F with high humidity ... usually locally) and I have seen some later in the summer (90-100F locally & intolerable humidity)

I wasn't clear - yes, the plants put out new blooms each day or so - and each bloom typically only lasts a day - thus the name - Day Lily.
My wife goes in more for Asiatic and Martagon lilys.
