looks like the attempt to fix the big mess with DCP (DNG) profiles - "When applying a DCP Color Rendering, black clipping is not produced anymore. To further adjust the black level, use the Black slider in the Selective Tones palette." ... still a lot to do, including giving people an option for a true linear curve

As I recall it was in the previous release, but Fujifilm X-Trans with Deep PRIME XD works really well. At high ISO, less noise is visible and the resulting JPEG is smaller with equal quality/chroma.
