In terms of scene and composition, 10/10! However, not a fan of the processing of the photo -- too light for my tastes. Bringing down the curves a bit (especially at the higher end) makes for a much more pleasing photo, at least to my eyes.

YES!!! Nicely done! It's really such a nice and subtle photo. The loneliness of the scene -- a single woman smoking a cigarette while "experiencing" the world and friends virtually through her phone in the midst of a deserted reality that seems to offer so much more -- is really quite compelling, and works better (a lot better, in my opinion) with the tone curve of the edit.

You have captured a very beautiful image.

I agree with the suggestion to darken it a bit. But may I suggest that you "burn down" everything but the area around the woman? I think that globally pulling down the curve takes the life away from her.

I would also crop the image somewhat, but I don't want to intrude too much on an already lovely rendering.

    Very nice.

Hi Rich, thanks for your comment. On the second attempt I already left the woman with the original lighting, but it may have been a little short. How about this way?

I also would have gone down the path Rich suggested and so this looks better imo because it draws more focus on the woman which is the subject.
