Changed my username- is that okay?

Hi there - I was on the old site as ‘sheepless’ ( don’t know why I picked that) but I wanted to take the opportunity to sign up here with a name closer to my own. I have checked the old site to ensure no one is actively using it and it seems all clear. I kept my user photo. Is this okay?

Don't change it.
This is a global website and the name is perfectly okay.
It has no political / partisan implications here... this is 2023

I'm just a powerless peon. I'm Canadian, pretty much impossible to offend, and I actually prefer "Dixie" to "sheepless". My apologies if I caused you any anxiety over the name, the "south" connection just popped into my head. It probably doesn't matter to the folks who congregate here, they seem to be a pretty good bunch.
