He was resting on this twig about head high. I nearly bumped into him. Not sure who got the bigger fright...

Nice capture. If I may suggest, I would brighten background and blurred it somewhat to emphasize the creature. -
Nice capture. Tack sharp, you can see every scale on him or her. How large are they in real life?

I think the body was around 250 - 300mm long, the tail a bit more again. The small branch / twig was around 1cm diameter.
